Akasha Nickolas
Owner, CFO
Akasha hails from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and has always been head over heels in love with dogs.
For over 20 years, she has worked in vacation property management, real estate, and vacation cruise sales.
Her ultimate dream, though, has been to own and operate a sanctuary that provides an inclusive social community with dogs and their humans.
In 2020, she purchased a pet grooming salon (Elsa Blue K-9 Connection in Etowah, NC), which lit a fire that nurtured greater ambitions.
In early 2023, she found the perfect property for WagWorld Estate.
In 2024, WagWorld Estate launched an off-leash dog park and bar: WagWorld Pub, Dispensary and Lounge.
Akasha lives on the property with her wife and three rescue dogs, Dazy, Dexter, and Doobie. Akasha loves cruising, live music, hiking, and testing out the area’s local brews.
